Returns Policy Overview:

At Bored George, we want you to love your purchase. If you need to return an item, please contact our team at shop@boredgeorge.co.nz and we’ll guide you through the process.

Return Window:

  • You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return and be eligible for free return shipping (see eligibility criteria in below tab).
  • Returns requested between 7–14 days are still accepted, but return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • Returns requested after 14 days will not be accepted.

Qualification for free returns:

To qualify for a free return, the following criteria must be met:

  • Return request submitted within 7 days of receiving your order
  • Purchase value of $90 or more
  • Item was purchased online
  • Customer is based in New Zealand
  • Product is unworn, in original condition, with original packaging and 'polarized' sticker must be included
  • Proof of purchase may be requested

Please Note:

  • Outlet sunglasses are excluded from free returns and are considered final sale (see outlet policy below).
  • Personalised cases are not eligible for return or refund.
  • Sale items discounted by more than 30% are eligible for exchange only, with shipping costs covered by the customer (excl outlet which are final sale).

If you meet the free return criteria:

  • Our team will request a pickup address
  • A prepaid return label will be emailed to you
  • You must book your return within 7 days of receiving the label, otherwise the return will become invalid
  • Upon receiving your returned item, please allow up to three weeks for the refund process to be completed. The breakdown of this timeline is as follows:
  • Transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper: 2-6 business days.
  • Processing time upon receipt of your return: 3 to 5 business days.
  • Bank processing time for the refund: 2 to 5 business days.

Due to the heavily discounted nature of these items, all outlet sunglasses are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. We recommend double-checking your order before purchasing to ensure you're completely happy with your selection.
