We are here to assist you through the returns process. Please take note of the following conditions for a smooth and hassle-free return:
New Zealand
Free returns/exchanges (product over $90)
Criteria:
- NZ customers only
- Online purchases only
- Contact us within 14 days of the delivery date
- The product must be in its original, unworn condition with the original packaging, including the 'polarized' sticker to validate that it has not been worn
- Proof of purchase may be requested
- Outlet sunglasses and sale items over 30% are not included in returns (see below for more info)
- Personalised items are not eligible for return or refund
Process:
- start your return/exchange in our Return/Exchange Portal
- Our team will access your return
- A returns label will be emailed to you. You have 7 days to book your return before the return will become invalid.
Everywhere else
For customers outside of New Zealand wanting to return or exchange, return shipping costs will not be covered. Return shipping costs will be calculated and communicated to you by our team once your return request has been assessed.

- Email shop@boredgeorge.co.nz with your order number and reason for return
- Our team will access your return
- You will be contacted for a pick-up address, and a returns label will be emailed to them. You have 7 days to book your return before the return will become invalid.
Outlet Sunglasses and Sale Items Return Policy
All purchases of outlet sunglasses and sale items over 30% are final and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. We recommend double-checking your order before purchasing to ensure you're completely satisfied with your selection.
If a promotion is conditional on purchasing multiple pairs of sunglasses (e.g. buy 2 pairs, get 20% off) and a return is requested for one pair, the order no longer qualifies for the discount.

Refund Processing
Upon receiving your returned item, please allow up to three weeks for the refund process to be completed. The breakdown of this timeline is as follows:
- Transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper: 2-6 business days.
- Processing time upon receipt of your return: 3 to 5 business days.
- Bank processing time for the refund: 2 to 5 business days.
